The A&D Medical WellnessConnected application represents a significant step forward in integrating health monitoring devices with mobile technology. Designed to work seamlessly with the latest A&D devices—such as blood pressure monitors, weight scales, and body composition analyzers—this app facilitates wireless data transfer via Bluetooth on iPhones, iPads, iPods, and iPad Minis. The devices employ the SSP (Simple Secure Pairing) protocol, eliminating the need for PIN entry during pairing, thereby streamlining the user experience. After each measurement, data is automatically transmitted to the paired iOS device, enabling real-time tracking of health metrics.

WellnessConnected offers comprehensive tracking tools through intuitive tables and graphical representations of blood pressure, weight, and body composition data. Additional functionalities include manual data entry and clock setting options, providing users with flexibility in managing their health records.

Furthermore, the app integrates with the Apple Health app, allowing users to export selected measurements such as systolic and diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, weight, BMI, body fat percentage, and resting calories. To enable this feature, users must activate "Health Access" at first launch and select the parameters they wish to share. This connection can be disabled at any time through the Health app settings.
